Mojave Ampworks was the lucky recipient of a visit from well-known guitarist Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Dio). Viv was looking for an amp that would offer him the “organic” tone properties needed for his upcoming Thin Lizzy tour which is heading through Europe. He settled on the Scorpion after exploring both the Plexi 45SE and the Scorpion 50 both running through the 4×12 Mojave cab using our G1230H and Reaper 30 55Hz mix. Keep an eye out for Viv and his Mojave rig on the road!
Look out for Mojave tone on record as well, as Viv let us know he finished up some rhythm guitar tracking for Def Leppard as soon as he got the amp and cab.
