Rare film on the manufacture of the G.E.C. Vacuum Tube

This is the Genalex KT66 with a carbon film to reduce stray electrons which are liberated from the electrodes. This vacuum tube is arguably one of the best vacuum tubes produced and used for guitar amplification

Here are links to a 3 part film produced in 1930 of the manufacture of Genalex G.E.C Vacuum Tubes. This film is a silent picture but some music was added. Mute the music and watch the film. Extra ordinarily fascinating as to what vacuum tube manufacturing was like then and is still very much the same.
